Export SmartMusic Accompaniment - Select File Type dialog box
How to get there
Choose File > Export > SmartMusic®.
What it does
You can export your Finale document as any of three types of SmartMusic accompaniments:
- Assessment. Choose this option if you want SmartMusic to be able to provide an automatic performance assessment for your SmartMusic accompaniment. Automatic assessment listens to your solo performance and displays onscreen notes: green notes for correct performance, and red notes indicating incorrect pitch and/or rhythm.
- Ensemble.
Choose this option to create a SmartMusic accompaniment for ensemble practice. Notes are not displayed on the screen and no assessment or following is available.
- Solo.
Choose this option to create a SmartMusic accompaniment for solo performance. Solos make use of the SmartMusic "Follow Me" feature (formerly called Intelligent Accompaniment) which automatically adjusts playback tempo by detecting your solo performance.
- Display Solo Notation.
Check this option to display the solo notes on the screen in a solo SmartMusic accompaniment.
